What to Expect

The first treatment will take 90 mins with a thorough consultation taking details of symptoms, sleep pattern, digestion and any medication etc. Pulses on both arms will be taken and Carri will observe your tongue. These 3 examinations form the basis of the diagnosis. From here Carri will discuss a treatment plan with you, and if this is acceptable, treatment will commence and can include needles, moxa or Gua Sha. Subsequent treatments take up to 60 mins.

Contrary to what one might expect, needles when inserted are not painful. Generally one experiences relaxation and a sense of calmness.

After the treatment you will feel very relaxed and it is important to be aware of this if you need to drive.
